Holiday Happiness.

If you haven’t already, get your butt down to the Lake District.

If you’ve been following my blog for a while, you might remember my post about our amazing holiday in The Lake District. Well, we loved it so much, that we’ve booked to go back! At the end of August we’re going to rediscover Cumbria.

We’ve booked a studio apartment instead of a B&B in the place we want to do lots of climbing, we’re going to find some caves we saw online and just disconnect from reality and have some amazing together time.

If you’re from the UK and haven’t been. Go. If you’re from anywhere else and fancy coming to the UK for a little while, put it on your to-do list. It is a breathtakingly beautiful place. If you don’t believe me, here’s the proof.

I’m counting down the days until we go. I’m that excited I’ve even managed to put a countdown widget on my site! A holiday doesn’t have to include sun and sand, you can have just as much fun climbing up steep hills and mountains and getting stuck in the mud!

So go out, get stuck in the mud and explore the beauty that could be right on your doorstep!

  1. Those last two paragraphs. Yes.

Went on what turned out to be a hiking trip to Ireland over Easter, which was lovely, if anything because of, the miserable weather, and my foolish insistence to walk ten miles from the airport to the house where I was staying.
