Aren’t we cute as cartoons?

I’d written out a massive post talking about how amazing Joe is, but I’m pretty sure you’ve all heard that 100 times and are sick of it.

Instead, I’ll leave you with a picture of us in cartoon form.

    1. Haha 🙂 I do gush about him a little too often. But he’s wonderful.

No, it was a housewarming present from a friend. She knows an artist that draws like this 🙂 I’m not that great at drawing. Photography is more my thing.

      1. If I can’t comment you on the drawing I’ll compliment you on your choice of friend! And wonderful people tend to be the only ones worth gushing over 🙂

And you’re rather good at the photography thing!

        1. Aw thank you! The photography blog isn’t very big at the moment – but hoping it’ll grow soon 🙂

And thank you – she is a wonderful (albeit strange) friend 🙂 and Joe definitely is worth the gushing 🙂

          1. You’re talking to the guy with a blog named after himself – I see no problem with strange people.

And it’ll grow if you annoy all your friends with it for a bit. But only for a bit – soon they’ll get bored of being told and will ignore you (he says, totally not from personal experience)

            1. A lot of the people I know aren’t happy that I do photography – there was a big thing about it. So I kind of just let people who want to look at it look 🙂

                1. It was because I didn’t study it or anything so a lot of people decided I wasn’t good enough/takes a long time to get good /taking away their hard work… it was all so silly!

                  1. But that’s totally illogical – skill is based on what you produce, not what you’ve been taught. Also they sound like they’re deciding without actually looking at your photos. And seem to be more defensive than anything else.

                    It is quite silly.

                    1. Very silly indeed. But since then I just like to keep my photography a little bit separate. I mean, some people must think I’m alright otherwise they wouldn’t have let me do their wedding photos!

                    2. I plan to!
Also, I always like to post things people want to see, so if there’s anything in particular you’d like me to try then let me know 🙂

                    3. I think a range of things is best – I know it sounds generic but you’ll be able to improve in lots of areas and find which kind of photography you like best. That’ll help you get a range of jobs, and will help if ever you want to produce a portfolio or something.

I’m going back to the lakes at the end of august so a lot of photos will be up when I’ve gone through them!
